Donald Trump worth $4.5 billion: Forbes

The Republican presidential front-runner, who regularly boasts that he’s worth $10 billion or more, ranked 121st on the list with a net worth of only $4.5 billion.

The billion-dollar question about Donald Trump’s wealth has been answered, according to Forbes.

The magazine unveiled its annual list of the wealthiest Americans Tuesday and the real estate mogul didn’t make the top 10, or even the top 100.

The Republican presidential front-runner, who regularly boasts his worth is $10 billion or more, ranked 121st on the list with a net worth of only $4.5 billion.

Trump, unsurprisingly, took umbrage with the magazine’s evaluation of his empire.

“I’m running for president,” Trump told Forbes in an interview published Tuesday. “I’m worth much more than you have me down [FOR].”

Trump was essentially tied with Walmart heiress Ann Walton Kroenke and Theranos CEO Elizabeth Holmes, the youngest woman considered a self-made billionaire on the list.

“I think you’re trying to make me as poor as possible,” Trump said. “You’re going to look bad.”

The former reality TV star then questioned the business mag’s own finances.

“And look, all I can say is Forbes is a bankrupt magazine, doesn’t know what they’re talking about,” he said. “It’s embarrassing to me.”

The tycoon’s net worth has long been been debated, but came under intensified scrutiny after he announced his presidential ambitions earlier this year.

In July, Trump’s campaign announced he was worth $10 billion.

Forbes editor Randall Lane said given the controversy surrounding Trump, the magazine spent more time crunching the Trump numbers than it did for anyone else.

“We think we’ve finally settled the issue,” Lane said Tuesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “He’s out there telling everybody he’s worth $10 billion. He’s not.”

While not quite the same meteoric rise he has seen in the GOP polls, Trump did move up one spot from his ranking in 2014.

All together, the 400 wealthiest Americans are worth an astronomical $2.34 trillion, up $50 billion from 2014, according to Forbes. More than half of the billionaires on the list are worth more in 2015 than in 2014.

For the 22nd year in a row, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates topped the list with a net worth of $76 billion.

Warren Buffett took the number two spot with his $62 billion fortune. The Berkshire Hathaway chief executive has held the position since 2001.

David Koch and former mayor Michael Bloomberg were the only two New Yorkers to crack the top 10.

Koch held fifth place, alongside his brother Charles Koch, while Bloomberg came in eighth, with $38.6 billion, just behind Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

It was the first time Zuckerberg broke into the top
